This is the best float line Spanish Mackerel rig you will come across just using the humble old full Pilly. This keeps all the snap swivels, sinkers and hardware away from the bait. Mackerel can be finicky when it comes to hardware. The rig includes \u003cspan style=\"mso-spacerun: yes;\"\u003e \u003c\/span\u003e3-way crane swivels to clip or tie your mainline from rod onto. Also has the drone attachment loop ready to go. Just add a suitable float or small balloon to this drone loop attachment tag and you’ve got your Spanish Mackerel Floating Wire rig good to go. You will notice a small piece of mono attached to the midway 3- way swivel to tie on a lead if required to get the bait deeper or keep it deeper on the slow retrieve\/troll. With the trace lengths and use of a float it is made to sit 1-3 m below the surface. To get the bait deeper you will need to use a sliding float with use of rubber\/nylon stopper beads.
