80lb Japanese Mono Double Paternoster style rig with EZ Baiter Hooks on twisted dropper loops

A  basic but effective rig designed for medium depth waters 50-150m.  Suitable for most bottom demersal species including but not limited to Snappers, Emperor, Nannygai, Coral Trout and most bottom demersal fish species. Gummy Shark aswell.

EZ baiter hooks have been used by the commercial sector for many years and have proved to be a worthy hook. A combination of circle hook and long shank. The secret with this hook is the line has to go thru the barbed hook side of the eye thus angling the hook against the leader. This will now allow for a near perfect hook up rate, exactly how I have rigged them. They are razor sharp hooks and will self-set into the fishes mouth.

Lumo Chaffe guard tube in the eye will angle that line as intended and protect the twisted dropper loop leader. If you’re a novice in the deeper waters and strong currents, just set and forget with these hooks, they will hook the fish themselves.

A tough handmade rig that will also hold and manage larger incidental deepwater hooked species.

•     Lumo Sleeve Chafe Protection 
•    1.8 meters overall single,  (top swivel to sinker loop)
•    Sinker Trace knotted to breakaway lead if stuck on bottom to save rig from total loss
