Description

A rig designed for shallow to medium depth waters 20-80m for float lining for Snapper. But will also be successful on kingfish, Cobia and alike.

A high quality double snelled rig made to be floated down slowly in the berley trail. Can be used with or without lead. If the current is running add some small lead as required to the short length of line attached the 3–way Crane swivel. By putting the lead on here it keeps it away from the bait allowing it to float around and present naturally (no current =no lead required and leave this piece of line be) Also makes for easy lead changing as the conditions change, rather than cutting off hooks, adding lead and retying hooks.

The longer leader will help present your bait naturally by allowing your slab bait or live bait to float around in the current. For best results feed out slowly down the berley trail or cast out well behind the boat and allow it to sink slowly and naturally.

These double snelled Octopus hook rigs work great with strip baits, whole pillys  whole small Squid etc but can also be used with  live Slimies, Yakkas, Squid. The first hook has a small lumo tube to keep the rig running true in the current and also to adds a slight bit of attraction combined with the lumo bead.

Just clip it on, add a lead if required and your Rigged N Ready.
