DEEP DROP CLEAR ULTIMATE  SQUID  ON 350LB JAPANESE FLUROCARBON AND SHARK CLIP WITH 12/0 SS CIRCLE HOOKS 39960 WITH BLUE FLASHING EYE LIGHT

This rig has been designed for the deep dropper with matching the hatch in mind. We have aimed to mimic the more common BLUE bioluminescence that most deep water creatures and squid emit. Moving away from the un-natural all lumo green squid creating a more realistic looking deepwater squid.  This Squid is 15cm and translucent/opalescent in colour (as are most deepwater squid) with some flecks of Glitter.

The Ultimate squid rig has an attached water activated pulsing blue light to get the attention of all sorts of deepwater species. This combined with our blue deep water strobing lights (part of our other DD-11  Shark clip commercial style deep drop rig that this can be attached to) will reflect off the squid and glitter almost perfectly imitating the deeper water squid species. (See the photo of the firefly squid and deepwater squid) for comparison and our inspiration. These clear squid will also lightly fluoresce with the remaining blue and UV light that has penetrated the watery depths.  These small squid present perfectly in the water on descent, drifting, and ascent. 

The rig comprises of:  1 x Squid clip rig
•     350lb Fujiyama Flurocarbon leader,
•     12/0 SS Circle hook 36690
•     Small  Blue flashing eye light, 400hrs 1000m (Larger strobing blue light not included as it is part of theDD-11  Commercial Shark clip on rig that this can be attached to. Can be clipped onto any Deep Drop Rig or wind on leader.
•     Heavy Duty  SS Steel swivelled V Notch shark clip. Wont slide, holds position
•     Ultimate Squid translucent/opalescent glitter 

For best results add a small strip of fresh squid or flesh bait to the hook. You can also dip/ soak your rubber squid in a container with fresh defrosted squid and a small amount of saltwater. This will give your flashing Ultimate Squid lure the smell and taste to attract those big deepwater species.

If your fishing 3-6-9 hook rigs why not add one into the mix. ( Best suited to our DD-11 Commercial style Shark c clip on hook rig) but can be clipped onto any of our deep drop rigs. You can even clip it strait onto your wind on leader above your deep drop rig..  Just clip it on and your Rigged N Ready. 

It will also act as a great attractant for deep water species to your other traditional strip and squid baits with its pulsing and reflecting blue light properties. Designed to catch but not limited to Pearl Perch, Flame tail Snapper, Ruby Snapper, Bar Cod, Bass Grouper, Blue Eye Trevalla.
