SHARK CLIP DEEP DROP 22CM CLEAR/GLITTERED HOLLOW SQUID  ON 350LB JAPANESE FLUROCARBON WITH 11 /0 SS CIRCLE 39950 HOOKS WITH INTERNAL FLASHING BLUE LIGHT.

This rig has been designed for the deep dropper with matching the hatch in mind. We have aimed to mimic the more common blue bioluminescence that most deep water creatures and squid emit. Moving away from the un-natural all lumo green squid creating a more realistic looking deepwater squid.  This hollow Squid is 22cm and translucent/opalescent in colour (as are many deepwater squid) with some flecks of Glitter.

The rubber squid rig has an inbuilt water activated pulsing blue light to get the attention of all sorts of deepwater species. This combined with our larger blue deep water strobing lights (part of our other  DD-11 commercial style  deep drop rigs that this can be attached to) will reflect off the squid and glitter almost perfectly imitating the deeper water squid species. (See the photo of the firefly squid and deepwater squid) for comparison and our inspiration. These clear rubber squid will slightly fluoresce in the deep with the remaining blue and UV light that has penetrated the watery depths. Inbuilt into the rig is a lumo sleeve chafe guard and lumo bead for some traditional minor green light attraction. This also keeps the Squid in position and running true, swimming beautifully on descent, drifting and ascent. This is rigged to NOT tangle, twist or spin.

The rig comprises of:
•     350lb Fujiyama Flurocarbon leader,
•    11/0 SS Circle hook 39950
•     Lumo Sleeve line and Chafe protector, with internal lumo bead
•     Internal flashing blue light, 400hrs 1000m (small eye light) (Please Note large strobing blue light not included, It comes as part of the DD-11Commercial Shark  Clip on rig and  DD-8 12/0 ultimate Squid deep drop rig)
•      Heavy Duty SS Steel swivelled V Notch shark clip. Holds in position with no sliding, can be clipped onto any of my Deep Drop Rigs or even to a Wind On Leader.

For best results slide out the internal rigging from the rubber squid and shove some real squid and pilchard in the cavity for some flavour and smell, and then slide the rubber squid back over the rig and hooks. This will give your flashing Squid lure the smell and taste to attract those big deepwater species, Not to mention save your bait from pickers and continual rebaiting. You will always have at least have one bait down there with this rig.

If your fishing any 3-6-9 hook deep drop rigs why not add one into the mix. ( Best suited to our DD-11 commercial style shark clip Deep Drop Rig) but can be clipped onto any of our deep drop rigs. You can even clip it strait onto your wind on leader.  Just clip it on and your Rigged N Ready.

It will also act as a great attractant for deep water species to your other traditional strip and squid baits with its pulsing and reflecting  blue light. Designed to catch but not limited to Flametail, Ruby Snapper, Bar Cod, Bass Grouper, Blue Eye Trevalla. Even a Swordfish will be partial to this one. Everything eats Squid.
