130lb Japanese Fujiyama Mono Double Paternoster style rig with EZ Baiter Hooks and 3-Way Branch Swivels

A rig designed for medium depth waters 40-150m.  Suitable for most bottom demersal species including but not limited to Snappers, Emperors, Trumpeter, any bottom demersal fish really. Also good for the gummy sharks. 

EZ baiter hooks have been used by the commercial sector for many years and have proved to be a worthy hook. A combination of circle hook and long shank. The secret with this hook is the line has to go thru the barbed hook side of the eye thus angling the hook lightly against the leader. This will now allow for a near perfect hook up rate, exactly how I have rigged them. I have gone further with these rigs with lumo tube within the hook eye covered by a lumo chaffe guard. They are razor sharp hooks and will self-set into the fishes mouth. They are a commercial grade hook and extremely tough and durable.  If you’re a bit of a novice in the deep or strong currents, these rigs are set and forget, these hooks will self set.

Each critical connection point has been crimped to avoid reducing leader strength with Knots. The Branch swivel used will eliminate any twist ups and is crimped into a suitable position to keep the hook from tangling with your main line. Also maintains correct separation between hooks on this 2 hook rig.

A tough, durable handmade rig that will also hold and manage larger incidental pelagic and deepwater hooked species.

Ideal baits are whole Pillys, Whole Lunds Squids, Fish Fillets.

•     Lumo Sleeve Chafe Protection and lumo bead.
•    1.8 meters overall (top swivel to sinker loop)
•    Sinker Trace knotted to breakaway lead if stuck on bottom to save rig from total loss
